Attractively airy and refined aromas are comprised by notes of spiced pear, citrus and light smoke, all of which is trimmed in noticeable oak. There is very good detail and punch to the relatively large-scaled flavors that possess solid mid-palate density, all wrapped in a complex and sneaky long finale where hints of wood and warmth slowly appear. I like the texture, and this should be approachable relatively early in the context of what is typical for Chevalier.
